I'm so glad you're here! Some of you may know me as Allie Link, but in March 2022, I married my favorite person, Andrew! We live in Eastern NC where we're often cooking new recipes, reading a good book, or planning our next adventure.
While Andrew helps plan things behind-the-scenes and second shoots as often as he can, I'm who you'll see more often around here - more than likely with an iced coffee in hand.

It's my greatest honor to be invited into your love story. It's worth sharing and celebrating. Our favorite part of our wedding was having people believe in our marriage and celebrate alongside of us. Whether you choose us to capture your special moments or not, we're here for you, cheering you on and celebrating with you every step of the way.

Hello! I'm Allie Nichols!

While we don't have a dog of our own just yet, I'm the biggest dog person you'll ever meet! This is my parent's dog, Lilly. I'm obsessed with her!

I first picked up a camera in middle school and was instantly in love with capturing moments that allowed others to truly feel emotion. As time went on, I started to pick up clients here and there, ranging from family friends, classmates, and even brides. I eventually moved to Boone, NC where I studied public relations at Appalachian State University. I graduated from App State in 2019 with a dream of working in college athletics. I like to say that the Lord had a different plan.
Today, photographing weddings with a fine art approach is my full-time job. With over 55 weddings under my belt, I've learned that this is truly what the Lord had in mind. Photographing love stories ignites my heart and brings me so much joy. It's now even sweeter because my husband has been able to shoot weddings with me, allowing us to become teammates in more ways than one.

My photo story

After an awkward “good morning” in the Opendoor Church lobby, followed by an even more awkward conversation on Instagram, Andrew overheard me say I was craving some Bojangles supremes during the supreme shortage. Two days later, he asked me on an adventure to “find some supremes'' followed by walking around Target because, “what girl doesn’t love Target.” He picked me up that night and the rest is history.
I was captivated by the way Andrew talked of the Holy Spirit as if he was talking about a lifelong friend. I was smitten over the way he heard my desires of wanting some chicken tenders and went out of his way to find some. But I fell in love with the way he made me smile until my cheeks hurt (he still does).
We said "I do" in an intimate, 40 person wedding exactly 9 months after our first date. It was everything I could have dreamed of & more. We danced to Brandon Lake, ate gluten free cake, & started our forever together. Every part of that day was exactly "us."

Two weeks later, he made his intentions known and I told my friends he was the one. Every day since I’ve experienced a love that’s a glimpse of the Father’s. Andrew sees me, knows me, and still loves me. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we wanted to be on the same team forever.

Five months later Andrew took me on a day date to Wilmington. We ate yummy food, drank good coffee, and of course walked around Target. He then took me to my grandparent’s beach house on Topsail Island to watch the sunset. He gave me a polaroid camera to “capture the moment” (my photographer heart leapt at this!), my favorite red wine, and the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen.
